Mysticism
is often looked upon as the Vail that blocks our view of reality, a mist
of thoughts from a heavenly kingdom.
The poetry of Johannes Dèr Mouw was strongly influenced by mysticism.
Through its clear wording and undefiled use of language it reveals the
core of spiritual mysticism, and takes us on a journey through future
starscapes over turbulent oceans and dark prehistoric forests down to
our own living rooms.
After reading a good deal of Dèr Mouw’s poems the clarity and reality
of being starts to dim, one sees oneself as a part of all, Brahman. Just
like Dèr Mouw infectious exaltation is yours.
